The Law of Attraction and Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler was born on 20th April, 1889,in Braunau am Inn, Austria, near the German Border. He was the fourth child of six. His father, Alois Hitler, who was a customs official.

During the out break of World War I (1914-1918), Hitler joined the German army so he could prove to the world that Germany was stronger than other European Nations. He was quoted to have said “I was overcome with impetuous enthusiasm, and falling on my knees, wholeheartedly thanked Heaven that I had been granted the happiness to live at this time”, when he heard the news.

Hitler liked being in the army. For the first time he was part of a group that was fighting for a common goal. Hitler also liked the excitement of fighting in a war. Although fairly cautious in his actions, he did not mind risking his life and impressed his commanding officers for volunteering for dangerous missions. He won five medals including the prestigious Iron Cross.

His fellow soldiers described him as "odd" and "peculiar". One soldier from his regiment, Hans Mend, claimed that Hitler was an isolated figure who spent long periods of time sitting in the corner holding his head in silence. Then all of a sudden, Mend claimed, he would jump up and make a speech. These outbursts were usually attacks on Jews and Marxists who Hitler claimed were undermining the war effort.

When the war ended in November 1918 with Germany’s defeat, Hitler was depressed and for long periods of time he would not talk to any one. How ever with time, he joined the German nationalist party (Nazi Party) and rose up to the point of being the leader and eventually becoming the leader of all Germany. In 1933, he became a dictator over the whole of Germany. He believed that his ability to give speeches and to evoke the necessary emotions in his audience added to his successful rise to power. As a dictator, his long-term ambition of making Germany into a world power could finally be realised.

Hitler believed that Aryan superiority was being threatened particularly by the Jewish race who, he argued, were lazy and had contributed little to world civilization. (Hitler ignored the fact that some of his favourite composers and musicians were Jewish). He claimed that the "Jewish youth lies in wait for hours on end satanically glaring at and spying on the unconscious girl whom he plans to seduce, adulterating her blood with the ultimate idea of bastardizing the white race which they hate and thus lowering its cultural and political level so that the Jew might dominate."

The result of his actions led to the Second World War and the holocaust were millions of Jews perished in his infamous concentration camps. The war set him against a coalition that included the world's largest empire (the British Empire), the world's greatest industrial and financial power (the United States), and the world's largest army (the Soviet Union).

Events eventually turned round when the Allied forces started winning several victories against the Axis forces. It wasn’t long before they were marching towards Berlin. Hitler's stubbornness and defiance of military realities also allowed the Holocaust to continue. He also ordered the complete destruction of all German industrial infrastructure before it could fall into the hands of the Allies, saying that Germany's failure to win the war forfeited its right to survive. Execution of the plan was entrusted to arms minister Albert Speer, who disobeyed the order. On 30 April 1945, after intense street-to-street combat, when Soviet troops were spotted within a block or two of the Reich Chancellory, Hitler committed suicide in the Führerbunker, shooting himself while simultaneously biting into a cyanide capsule.

Hitler rose from nothing to a great person on this earth; now merely mentioning his name, evokes emotions in people years after him. The question now is: did he practice the law of attraction? I wish some of the teachers of the secret were here to give me their answer.

We are told by the teachers of the secret that we could be, do and have what ever we wanted. Hitler did but did not completely have what he wanted. Very few people do if ever. If Hitler achieved all his heart’s desire, only God knows what would have become of some of us. The so-called secret teachers would not have the freedom and opportunity today to even make such claims.

I believe in predestination. I believe that God is sovereign and once you want to go out of His will for any of His children and His plans for the world, HE finds a way of stopping you. He exists and he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. If you would just read my post on the Ultimate law of attraction, maybe you’d see what I am trying to say.

Einstein was the man of the 20th century. He had his moments. Quantum Mechanics confused him a lot. He has lots of theories that can not be verified and probably never will. The Secret has him as one of the teachers of the secret. He didn’t become, do or have what he wanted. If he did, then maybe his views on quantum mechanics would have been totally accepted as the ones on relativity were.

Interesting post (thanks for commenting on one of my articles - http://lawofattractionblog.in30minutes.net/2008/02/03/how-long-will-it-take-to-see-results-with-the-law-of-attraction/#comment-39)

I'm not here to stand up for the Teachers featured in The Secret as I have only emt one of them in person. But I don't believe they say that you can get ANYTHING you want - good or bad. At least not deliberately. That's not my take on the movie.

In my own book on the Law of Attraction, Law of Attraction in 30 Minutes, and on my Ultimate Law of Attraction Blog, time and again I say that you simply cannot 'use' the Law of Attraction on others.

You can only use it to change yourself. And as you change, so you draw others to you of a similar vibration.

I personally don't believe that Adolf Hitler used the Law of Attraction to create his evil. What he used was sheer will power with a pure intent of evil. In time it ad to catch up with him.

In fact, time and again I tell my students that you CANNOT use the Law of Attrction deliberately for bad.

I firmly believe that there IS a higher power. I call it God. Some call it Buddha, Allah, The Universe.

But whatever you call 'It', it is the reason why the Law of Attraction works. It is the thing that has created the Law of Attraction.

No loving God would ever grant Adolf Hitler's wishes.

There will unfortunately always be twisted people who try to use the power of prayer or anything else they can get their hands on for their evil intent.

But they will always get what's coming to them, sooner or later.

  2. Hello GK

thanks for your post. It is interesting to understand how you feel.

The teachers of the secret explain a few things on how we all attract things to our life. I think everything involved in attraction (passion, emotion, action, desire, imagination etc) was evident in the life of Hitler.

As you can see, it worked for awhile before the Almighty came down on him mightily.

for instance, as a soldier, he'd sit down quietly in a corner obviously imagining himself giving speeches against Maxist and Jews and he'd be so oblivious of his surrounding that he'd jump up and start giving a real one to his imagined audiences.

Hitler was known for delivering emotion-packed speeches that moved his listeners.

If we could copy his style, in the will of God, there is no telling how far we could go.

Yes he used his for evil but he still applied the law of attraction nontheless

  3. I just finished reading The Secret, I enjoyed and am trying to employ it into my thinking, but in the back of my mind I have been scared that it might go against my Chirstian beliefs. What I ultimately learned was a new way to pray. I am happier already within a week of picking up the book.

There are some good lessons from the book, like to always thing positively, and bless everyone. Especially, to be thankful before you receive, they left out to be thankful to God.

  4. You guys keep talking about the law of attraction as some kind of feature that you can turn on and off. Just like gravity, it doesn't work like that.

The law of attraction has no exclusions - it works and responds to EVERY thought and emotion we have. Whatever you focus on, expand, courtesy of the law of attraction, whether it is negative or positive.

This is how evil acts are possible. Someone like Hitler clearly had no idea what the LOA was, but he had tremendous vision and willpower that triggered the LOA. At the time, his beliefs resonated well with a lot of people, so the momentum grew.

As word of his evildoing (and make no mistake, it was evil) spread, it created FEAR in people that they might be next. This fear activated the LOA in these people, and at some point, if the fear was strong enough (whether it was conscious or subconscious fear) it caused the demise of these people.

At some point, the fear reached epidemic proportions, and at that point, the LOA responded on a global basis, causing the death and suffering of the Holocaust.

And that's just the thing about the law of attraction: It is a law, which means it does not discriminate. It simply responds to the emotions behind your thoughts and gives you more of it.

The concept of the LOA goes completely against Christianity, so I don't expect any of you guys to agree with what I've just said.

The only reason I'm posting it is to make it clear that LOA isn't some fancy "customizable" law that you use only when it's convenient and "only for good". If you believe it, you know that it is an absolute law.

You're either a Christian, or you believe in the Law of attraction. If you think you can be both, you are going WAY out of the confines of what Christianity is.
