The Law of Attraction and Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler was born on 20th April, 1889,in Braunau am Inn, Austria, near the German Border. He was the fourth child of six. His father, Alois Hitler, who was a customs official.

During the out break of World War I (1914-1918), Hitler joined the German army so he could prove to the world that Germany was stronger than other European Nations. He was quoted to have said “I was overcome with impetuous enthusiasm, and falling on my knees, wholeheartedly thanked Heaven that I had been granted the happiness to live at this time”, when he heard the news.

Hitler liked being in the army. For the first time he was part of a group that was fighting for a common goal. Hitler also liked the excitement of fighting in a war. Although fairly cautious in his actions, he did not mind risking his life and impressed his commanding officers for volunteering for dangerous missions. He won five medals including the prestigious Iron Cross.

His fellow soldiers described him as "odd" and "peculiar". One soldier from his regiment, Hans Mend, claimed that Hitler was an isolated figure who spent long periods of time sitting in the corner holding his head in silence. Then all of a sudden, Mend claimed, he would jump up and make a speech. These outbursts were usually attacks on Jews and Marxists who Hitler claimed were undermining the war effort.

When the war ended in November 1918 with Germany’s defeat, Hitler was depressed and for long periods of time he would not talk to any one. How ever with time, he joined the German nationalist party (Nazi Party) and rose up to the point of being the leader and eventually becoming the leader of all Germany. In 1933, he became a dictator over the whole of Germany. He believed that his ability to give speeches and to evoke the necessary emotions in his audience added to his successful rise to power. As a dictator, his long-term ambition of making Germany into a world power could finally be realised.

Hitler believed that Aryan superiority was being threatened particularly by the Jewish race who, he argued, were lazy and had contributed little to world civilization. (Hitler ignored the fact that some of his favourite composers and musicians were Jewish). He claimed that the "Jewish youth lies in wait for hours on end satanically glaring at and spying on the unconscious girl whom he plans to seduce, adulterating her blood with the ultimate idea of bastardizing the white race which they hate and thus lowering its cultural and political level so that the Jew might dominate."

The result of his actions led to the Second World War and the holocaust were millions of Jews perished in his infamous concentration camps. The war set him against a coalition that included the world's largest empire (the British Empire), the world's greatest industrial and financial power (the United States), and the world's largest army (the Soviet Union).

Events eventually turned round when the Allied forces started winning several victories against the Axis forces. It wasn’t long before they were marching towards Berlin. Hitler's stubbornness and defiance of military realities also allowed the Holocaust to continue. He also ordered the complete destruction of all German industrial infrastructure before it could fall into the hands of the Allies, saying that Germany's failure to win the war forfeited its right to survive. Execution of the plan was entrusted to arms minister Albert Speer, who disobeyed the order. On 30 April 1945, after intense street-to-street combat, when Soviet troops were spotted within a block or two of the Reich Chancellory, Hitler committed suicide in the Führerbunker, shooting himself while simultaneously biting into a cyanide capsule.

Hitler rose from nothing to a great person on this earth; now merely mentioning his name, evokes emotions in people years after him. The question now is: did he practice the law of attraction? I wish some of the teachers of the secret were here to give me their answer.

We are told by the teachers of the secret that we could be, do and have what ever we wanted. Hitler did but did not completely have what he wanted. Very few people do if ever. If Hitler achieved all his heart’s desire, only God knows what would have become of some of us. The so-called secret teachers would not have the freedom and opportunity today to even make such claims.

I believe in predestination. I believe that God is sovereign and once you want to go out of His will for any of His children and His plans for the world, HE finds a way of stopping you. He exists and he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. If you would just read my post on the Ultimate law of attraction, maybe you’d see what I am trying to say.

Einstein was the man of the 20th century. He had his moments. Quantum Mechanics confused him a lot. He has lots of theories that can not be verified and probably never will. The Secret has him as one of the teachers of the secret. He didn’t become, do or have what he wanted. If he did, then maybe his views on quantum mechanics would have been totally accepted as the ones on relativity were.

Visualization?

I love reading books alot. One book that remained in my hands for a long time was one by stephen R. Covey, The 7 Habits of highly Effective People. One of the chapters was titled begin with End in Mind. I kinda love that phrase. It has become one of my favourites for some time now. What does it mean to begin with the end in mind?

All of us humans have an ability to use creative imagination. The ability is one of the abilities that distinguishes us from animals.
Our imaginations have enabled  us to invent thing from the wheel to putting man on the moon. It could enable us to make things that never existed before in reality but in the mind of the one who has the idea.

If this ability works in inventions and all that, I believe it should work also for other aspects of our lives. The term visualization has been used to describe this process of delibrately creating a desired outcome that we want to see come to past in your life. It is a normal human ability. No one should decieve you into going for meditative classes to be able to do this. I do not agree that it is magical and only a chosen few have the secrets to achieving it.

We all find ourselves in different states where are completely oblivious of our surroundings. These are states that trigger creativity in us. Sometimes we are not just passionate enough about enhancing our lives. By subscribing to all the ads we see in our newspapers and the internet, we use our laziness and gullibility to enrich these people with thier fake methods and new so-called revolutionary procedures that were created just for that purpose.

If you can't visualize properly in begining with the end in mind, write. I do a little of both We all have imaginations, even if we use them wrongly.
Spend some time thinking how you would want your future to be like. Have it in mind that not all you want can come to you.

Prayer is a key way of begining with the end in mind. Spend time in real positive prayer, telling your Creator how things are and how you want them to be. You could think through your prayer or speak out as if He were next to you. Then end the prayer with "Not my will but thine Lord." He owns the future. He knows whether it fits with your role in the scheme of things. Before you begin any major project, spend sometime in real prayer. Use your imagination well.

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine" Ephesians 3:20

If you can write out your prayer on a piece of paper, you could spend time reading it out to yourself. From the verse above, you can see that even our imaginations could be answered by God. Think only good things as much as you can. If you can spend some time studying scripture, knowing the will of your Creator and thinking them would greatly enhance your manifestation process because "His Blessings make rich and adds no sorrow to it."

The Ultimate Law of Attraction

The aim of creating this blog is too take a Christian stance to the recent buzz created by the movie and book the Secret on the age-old theory called the law of attraction. I have tried to explain that I feel deep within me that absolutely every body experiences this so-called law of attraction as sure as we all experience the warmth of the sun every day it shines without any consideration of whether we are good or bad, or to paraphrase what one of the teachers of the secret said, “…if anyone falls of a building, it doesn’t matter whether you are a good person or bad person, you’re gonna hit the ground.” My issue is the god-like status they give you without realising that if what they claim is completely true, we’d be living in a chaotic universe because everybody has different needs. If you want to get my point, go into a store or supermarket and watch shoppers making decisions and then changing their minds. If the catalog of the universe could be accessed like those of superstores, then you’d understand my point.
I don’t think its too much to repeat myself on some important points: there is a God who is in charge of this universe including our little home called planet earth. We need to align our desires with his will for us to make any important progress in this so-called manifesting process.
Sowing and reaping
I believe quite well that this is a spiritual universe. We need to sow the right words and I believe that once they are well planted in the spiritual, then definitely that seed would grow and produce fruits in the physical.

For me to say every word gets sown properly in the spiritual and definitely produces fruit in the physical would be like repeating what the teachers of the secret have been saying. Some words definitely produce fruits. One of the exercises given in the movie on the process of manifesting what you want is to start with a cup of coffee. Let me say again that if manifesting any thing you wanted could come no matter what, every teacher of the secret would be a least on the list of billionaires we have on earth.

Sowing seeds that would definitely germinate and produce fruits in reality.

“Look in the scroll of the Lord and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order and his Spirit will gather them together.” Isaiah 34:16

When the word of God and His Spirit work together in our words and prayers, then what I call the ultimate law of attraction takes place. Let me give you another verse that confirms that:

“Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” Genesis 1:2,3

You can see that with the Spirit of God and His Word working hand in hand, creation took place. This truth happens even today. Most Christians who are serious with God study scriptures to know the mind of God. If you do that constantly and have a real relationship with your creator, then speaking His word in your life would definitely cause a real manifestation that would astound you.

Setting Intentions
The so-called teachers of The Secret and their students teach about the power of intentions. They say just set an intention and the universe would bring it to you unfailingly. Of recent, I visited the blog of Joe Vitale, one of the teachers, and I was surprised to see that he has completely reversed his opinion on intentions. He doesn’t believe you could just set any intention and have it granted. He presently prefers what he calls inspired intentions. He claims he prefers to have some form of inspiration on the intentions before sending them to the universe. That really proves that some of them are beginning to own up to the reality of the fact that a lot of their intentions don’t get manifested.

The truth is setting intentions is really like what are called declarations in some Christian circles. The difference here is the fact that the Christians would take a verse whether right or out of context to justify their needs and state it to God or just out aloud to the world, while the way it is presented by the teachers of The Secret is just to present your desires. In the end, whether we quote scripture or not, as long as it is strictly our desires we are interested in and nothing else, we are doing the very same thing but giving it different names.

I do not agree with the fact that just any man would open the scriptures all the time without having any relationship with God to understand His sovereign desires for the world and your role in it, and just make any intentions or declarations to the world or the universe and have it come to pass.

You want to experience the ultimate Law of Attraction? Have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. His Holy Spirit will be given to you to guide you and begin to tell you your role in the divine scheme of things, and manifesting things in line with that role would become simply understandable, though not necessarily easy or fast. My last post about getting a job would explain to you how the word of God in Scripture and my relationship help to bring about the desired result. If the job was not in line with my role in God’s sovereign plan on earth, I’d have had to kiss that job good-bye.
